New Trans survey - short and possibly pays $75

Hi, I'm doing my doctoral degree in psychology with the aim of later helping trans and gender diverse people suffering with depression and anxiety. So, I'm currently doing some research about anxiety in social situations (e.g. in the workplace, out in public) for trans and gender diverse people.

The discrimination and abuse to which trans and gender diverse people are exposed in social situations can lead to anxiety in and/or avoidance of these situations. The purpose of this study is to test a survey we have created that measures anxiety and avoidance and their effects on the health and quality of life of trans and gender diverse people.

You do not have to have social anxiety to participate in this study! People with low levels of anxiety are also encouraged to participate.

If you are 18 years or older and identify as trans or gender diverse (i.e. you don’t identify exclusively with the gender you were assigned at birth, and includes genderqueer, non-binary, or agender people), you are invited to participate in this study.

Because we value your contribution, at the completion of the survey you will be eligible to enter the draw to win one of three $100 (AUS currency) international Visa Gift Cards (each equivalent to approximately 75 US dollars).

This is a confidential and anonymous survey – no personal details will be obtained from you and no identifying information will be linked to the responses you give. But please do be aware of your privacy when completing the survey.

I took the survey. I can confirm that they're are no personally-identifying questions, absent at the very end when (separate from the survey), she asks if you'd like to be on a list for more outreach stuff and to be entered into the drawing for the gift card. It may not seem like much, but this is important stuff.

So 2 notes:

- This does seem to be geared toward fully OUT people.
- There is no exclusion for people outside of certain countries/continents.
