I'm finally out to my parents. They are a bit worried that I might have misdiagnosed myself but fully accept who I am and agree with seeing a therapist who specializes in gender-identity and if the therapist gives his ok I can get hormone therapy. My dad will need some time though. Dad: No matter what you are, you will always be my daughter! (He meant his child but the choice of words is so funny in that context) Me: Well, maybe I'm your son? Mum: Let's just say: Our child! So things are working fine!
