Has anybody got any tips for training a biological female's voice to sound male, before hormones? I've been trying exercises I found on YouTube for months and not getting anywhere.

I would like to know myself, honestly. I don't have any professional tips, but I've found that

    a) speaking slower
    b) speaking somewhat quieter
and c) talking in a more monotone voice (without as many ups and downs)
    helps.

It sometimes means you have to speak a bit differently to how you usually do to make your voice sound deeper, but those are the few small things that I think helps. Sometimes it's a conscious effort.

I recently figured out a more healthier way than those before. I sang along to Sabaton more and as I spoke my voice was deeper as I was used to singing along to these songs of which the singer has a very deep voice.

Also watching male youtubers and parroting all they say with as low voice as you can, might help. That will probably also help you to get hang of that masculine speech pattern (you know how Obama talks and instantly sounds like a daddy. that kinda thing.)
