You've probably read something like this before,
I tell myself in my head that it's just a phase, and
To be honest I think it is. I'm a 13 year old male,
And I think I'm transgender. I have been doing some
Minor things over the last month without realizing it,
For example, my preferred game characters are female,
Etc.. But there are a few things that have been lasting longer,
My favorite Star Wars character has always been ahsoka tano,
And my favorite colors are yellow and purple. That's just the tip of the iceberg,
Are this signs of being transgender?

Sorry for bad spelling + grammar

    Color preferences don't determine gender.

As for video games and movies, it depends. I don't really feel comfortable telling people about their own gender but I'd say how you like these characters matters. Does playing a female character in a video game give you a euphoric feelings?

In the end, it's your gender. It's about how you feel.

You haven't really indicated anything that would make you trans. I'm a cis girl, my favourite colour is blue and I play male characters in video games. However I am fine with my body and with being called a girl. Sometimes I give the cis side of the story to someone here who's unsure if they're trans just so they can rule that out... but in this case unless there's more you haven't said I don't actually think you're trans. Please elaborate if there's more you haven't said - perhaps we are missing something.

Depends why you pick the character in video games. Sometimes the females have the better equipment and abilities  But if that is the same and you have no emotional prefernce of the characters it can be a sign of being transgender.

Ok, these are some things I don't like talking about, when I was younger, I watched m2f hypnosis videos, and this is one I really don't like admiring (sorry ahead of time) I taped my penis under my legs so there wasn't anything visible. I used to do these before I even new what transgender mean.

Yeah, when I was younger I hid it under my legs. I'm thirteen, birth-male and trans, and pondering transition.

Anyway a few questions. I answered them for myself because why not.

    1. Are your interests societally female, androgynous, male, or a mix? For me: Female or androgynous.
    2. Ever wish you were born female? Me: Daily.
    3. Do you wish you could actually be/play a female character? Me: Still mad I can't play Elphaba in Wicked til I transition...
    4. Finally, describe your past experiences with gender. Me: Always wished I was/acted like I was female.

Answering these should give you a better sense of your gender.

Thanks, those questions helped me clear things up.
I'm going to wait a couple months and see if it is a phase or not, there is no way for me to know now.
