I've recently realized I'm bigender and find that wearing more feminine clothes suppresses my dysphoria but I'm firmly in the closet for the time being.

Any tips for wearing more feminine clothes but not really showing it or advice on what to wear?

    Thanks! (*hug*)

Perhaps you could experiment with brighter clothes and bolder patterns? "Guy clothes" tend to be pretty bland in the colour and pattern department:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Or what about things like necklaces, bracelets and stuff like that?

I know it won't be helpful for the summer but in the winter when you're able to layer clothes wearing a top that might be more feminine/that you don't yet feel comfortable wearing out in public yet, under your regular clothes may help? Knowing that you're wearing it can do a whole lot even if other people can't see it.

You can wear more "form fitting clothes" like tighter sweatpants or skinny jeans and also never be afraid to wear bold shoes like platform shoes because they can make a really nice statement (while making you appear taller which I'm not sure if you want that or not.) and also wear more feminine tops like start off looking around sites like Tumblr and Pinterest for outfit ideas, thats how I got started. I hope this advice works for you in any way.

Mary janes and girls sneakers with skinny jeans and women's fit tees. Bracelets and scarves also help.

You could also prolly get away with wearing a bit of makeup like maybe some eyeliner.

If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn that I wrote that, because everything in there describes me perfectly. What I typically do is wear women's panties. I occasionally wear men's shirts that are pink and even carry a women's wallet. I recently decided to try buying more feminine shirts and even a purse. I bought the purse, and began carrying it around, and had mixed feelings about it. I never bought any women's shirts, but did try some on, again with mixed feelings while looking in the mirror at the fitting room. I have three problems, though: #1-tight clothes are not my friend, #2-I am tall for a man (6 ft, 6 in., or just shy of 2 meters tall), so it is hard to find good women's clothes that fit me, and #3-I typically enjoy just blending in and do not like to draw attention to myself, and with my height, I do tend to stand out in a crowd.

You could try painting your nails, even just your toenails if you don't want people to see. As other people said tighter, brighter clothes are a good idea. It might be a bit much but maybe shaving your legs or armpits? Also using more feminine soaps and deodorants or something might help.

    -Bright clothes
    -bright converse /vans
    - maybe try wearing a bandana in a feminine style - works with long and short Hair, or just headbands? Coz those are low key coz they are kind of feminine traditionally but now they can be seen as rather androgynous I would say.

It's never warm enough for summer clothes in Wales so it's a safe option

Start with Unisex clothes and accessories
then gradually start change to female clothes one at a time, until you fully feel comfortable with yourself .
