So I am lucky to pass as a guy and wear mostly male and male looking clothes. I train a lot to get rid of my curves. I know it takes time until they're gone and I will get a more masculine shape but I keep doing it. But things are going too slow for me. I need some progress, but don't know how. My desire for social transition can only be fulfilled with a name change because of my future work and my parents who (now at least promised to use a gender neutral nickname) still won't accept it as truth until I can proof it. I pursue it, I will talk to my therapist soon and try to find a specialist. But it's too slow somehow. I considered getting binders instead of sports bras to achieve a flatter chest (it's pretty flat already) but I don't want to spend a lot of money for such tiny results.

    Any ideas?

I also wondered how good binders are. Are the results better than with a sports bra? I have cup b.

In my experience, binders generally work better than sports bras.

Then this will most likely be my next step. I tend to hunch my shoulders forward since I don't know when, I hope this will get better. Will it look like a muscular chest?

I don't think binders generally help with the appearance of a muscular chest. Although, I suppose, it would depend on the size of your chest. For example, my chest is quite large, so when I wear my binder I look flatter, but also a little bulkier. My nan compared me to an American footballer the first time I wore one in front of her - she was referring to my chest looking like I had pecs.

I have cup b. I prefer a little muscular, but flat appearance. Can you tell to which it would tend?

Binder will -definitely- get you better results than a sports bra. And a B-cup is plenty to see significant results. GC2B has good ones that shape all my tissue into a pec shape, which is distinct from a "smashed boob" shape and also from perfectly flat. It's not unreasonably huge either, it looks very appropriate for a guy of my size and body fat percentage, and I'm a small in their sizes. I've heard good things about underworks tri-tops too.

Get a binder. A good quality binder. It's worth it. I put off spending the $35 on getting a nice binder for years, then I got one, and then ordered 3 more because it was SO worth it. It seems like a lot of money, but they're so nice. And it feels just that much better all over when you don't have to worry about your chest being there.
