    Hey people

I think I was wrong, I'm not trans. That's what happens when you get a brain pattern that's unusual for your sex and fit into cultural expectations of your assigned sex. I'm a lady with a very male brain, likes to hang out with guys, dress like a guy, be manly, and likes being a top. But I like being called a dude too, so you're welcome to adress me this way, I don't find it the least deregatory, I even like it

Feel free to share similar stories

    Cheers

I am a bit of a tomboy myself, but nothing more than your average gay woman I guess, so I still fit pretty well with our cultural expectations. I just really wanted to say that butch and androgynous women are awesome!!

I feel the same way except reverse. I am not physically effeminate though. I think n react like a lady most of the times. I hate being called dude or bro. My sensibilities are very feminine so are my interests. I have a deep yearning for being the mommy( the warm nurturing loving parent) to my children than a daddy. I don't like doing masculine things and hate having masculine roles imposed on me
This borders on social dysphoria. I did question whether I was trans or not, don't think I am though. So I totally understand you!

As long as you're happy, it shouldn't matter to the world who or what you are. That's what I try and tell myself. Easier said than done when everyone is programmed to judge and make split second assessments, based on preference and experience.

I am a female in biologically but every since my childhood I have been fantasizing about being a homosexual male. I look female and have female genitals but on the inside I am a man. Im sexually attracted to very fem, flaming, smooth, homosexual men who are bottoms. I want to top them I have to use a strap on though because no penis yet. Everyone thinks im weir:confused:d or just "straight" with "weird fetishes" but I really feel like a homosexual male. ....guess its kinda similar to ur story

... And a chronic crossresser....and basically confused if trans or not, but never mind, life of a crossressed female is pretty okey. If I say trans, people think about transitioning physically, but no, I don't feel comfortable with the idea, and not because I feel very girly. Just beecause I find the idea of changing something about my body offlutting. So "androgynous" is the description, the label, I guess. Whatever.

I think I just had a revelation. If I just write what I think in the gender box, then this is fine and this is my gender  No matter it doesn't fit into ready-made categories. That's still okey and valid, and totally understandable.

What's important is that you're happy with your identity.

I'm glad you've found your true self. (*hug*)

    I think I can relate. ^^

I have a lot of social dysphoria though; I don't know what's up with that.

Yeah, social dysphoria is how I landed on the trans forums in the first place... I have no idea what I was looking for, but I had on my mind "I hate being treated like a woman, I don't relate to women". So I'd say... what's up with that... *shrugs* me too...

Hm, I would say I don't have that dysphoria any more usually, although sometimes I feel trapped in my skin, especially when my family and old friends are around. I used to feel like that all the freaking time.
