Club meeting went well. At first it was just me, staff advisor, and 2 others. The only gay guy was excited to meet me because I was the first Trans person he has met. And the asexual girl was the one why started asking about names and pronouns. So one everyone knows that it is male pronouns and that i am Ryan. 2 others showed up near the end of the meeting and they were cool, they already knew the other 2. Afterwards the last 2 plus a 3rd who missed the meeting approached and we started talking about club and ways to help improve it. They all called me Ryan. One dude messed up on the pronouns but correct himself and contuine on without making it awkward. We all agreed that most people are unaware we have a club because of how small and out of the way it is. Me and the group afterwards talked about making fliers to put up around school, as well as moving our meetings from out of the lobby of main building to somewhere like the 2nd floor of the library that is rarely used. This being because some people might be uncomfortable with how open the lobby is, especially if they are still in the closet. But yeah. Just wanted to keep ya'll updated.
