A theory on why trans folks are hotter (take it with a smile)

Speaking for us FtMs: We were brought up to care a lot about style and looks and this stayed as part of us resulting in stunning looks.

As for the ladies: It's in their nature and they were kept away from it so long that when they finally could do it they would learn with a lot more enthusiasm that the cis-girls for which it is something as normal as having something to eat. Seriously I haven't seen a single girl in the do-I-pass-thread where I didn't wonder if that chick is some kind of make-up-artist.

And for both of us: We had to care an awful lot about clothes and hairstyles for passing so we have a different and more detailed experiences. And once we're in the body we belong we take care of it because to us it's something special.

This is true, I wager. Trans people put a lot more effort into both studying and practicing style (though this isn't to say cis-folk may not be equally endowed).

I mean, I didn't spend all that time in the closet for nothing.

There is also something alluring about someone with the traits of the opposite sex...

It's interesting that many MtF's tend to conform more to typical female dress than many bio-women do.

I wonder if this happens to FtM too. There is nothing overly masculine for us to do it, I'm afraid.

I don't know about that. There is something innately masculine about trying to show off a "beach bod" without a shirt on. If you are FtM and got top surgery, I'd be surprised if there aren't at least a few shirtless pics floating around.

The facial hair is also something that is inherently worn as a badge of pride on the masculine side. I never understood it, because I've never been a fan of facial hair...but then my gender expression was never overly masculine, either.

Not to say that either of those things are common to ALL FtMs, but definitely many. Much like many MtFs dress to the nines, but not absolutely all.
