Okay so I got my prescription for T today (!!!) but I'm worried about how low my dose is. It's only 25mg a month and I'm worried that I'm not going to have any significant changes. I also worried that my period isn't going to stop with such a low dose. What was your guy's starting dosage if you've started T? Should I just be patient?

I don't have an answer because I'm not yet on T. Out of interest, is there a reason specified as to why it's low?

When I started on hormones they started me on lower doses and they monitored stuff over time and increased it when they knew it would be safe to. It is most likely a safety thing.

The same stuff should happen with a low dose, just slower. If it's really not working for you, ask your doctor about it. Just give it time to see how you react to it.

I agree with what everyone else said. Your doctor probably wants to see how your body is going to process or react, and then raise is accordingly. I wouldn't worry too much.

Agreed with everyone else, but a reminder that we're not actually allowed to talk about specific dosage numbers.

Yeah we're not supposed to talk about doseage on here, but I'd say see how you feel after a while and talk to your doctor about increasing it next time you see them.
