So yesterday my mom finally, finally let me cut my hair the way I wanted it to look. Very boyish. I was intensely happy, and it helped lessen my dysphoria. She sat watching, cringing as my hair fell off in chunks as most of it was shaved off. "You look like a boy," she commented. I haven't told her about my genderfluidity, so I held back a grin.
I also made myself a binder for my chest. A safe one, not ACE bandages or anything.

It does, it does! When she went with me to look at it in the mirror, and she saw me beam with delight, she kinda scowled. She misses her girl.

That's fantastic. Well done! By the way, what did you ask for? Short back and sides? One of those asymmetrical cut things? (&&&)

Congrats! I am really happy for you. Does the self made binder work well? What did you make it from?

I took a really small shirt and cut it in half, put the top piece on and then put the price I cut off over it, along with an undershirt. And I have a faux hawk thingie now.

It helps if you have a slip like shirt, because that's what I used, but a really tight shirt should work, too. Unfortunately it only made a small impact because of my big breast :frowning2:
