This year I'll be starting college; so I'll be moving out to a state where I know no one and I'll be far away from family and friends.

I'm planning on presenting as male, so I want to get a haircut [Yes, I'm fully aware that my face is quite feminine and only a haircut won't make me suddenly pass, but you have to start somewhere].

I have no idea what haircut I would want, nor what would better suit my face and make me look more masculine. I don't mind it being extremely short, because I usually take no time in fixing my hair. I don't like undercuts though.

I posted a picture of myself in an album [in my profile].

Also, I'll be living in Los Angeles. Is it safe to go to a barber shop, or are there any transgender friendly salons?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jacob
