First day of therapy

    Today my husband and I met with a therapist. So far it seems like a good match, even if he does tend to go on a lot of tangents which I think are supposed to have some deeper meaning, but overall, we like the guy and get along.

    I was a bit disappointed we didn't get past the "intake interview." I was really, really needing to talk about what's going on, but our session ended just as we finished the list of basic questions to determine my background and other things that may be going on.

    That is normal for an intake session. You'll get into the big stuff soon enough.
