Wait, that should be plural! Yesterday, the communication went out to my department informing them of my transition and that they are to call me by my new name and male pronouns. I got some amazing responses, both via email, messenger and face to face. This includes the director of the department who told me I do a great job and if I ever have a problem to go to him. I also started T today! Using Testogel, which is weird and dries funny but it's still T! I had a wobble at the weekend and this sort of challenged how I felt about transitioning. But, I feel a lot better and excited for the changes again. I'm dealing with a terrible head cold right now, which is truly kicking my backside but oh well. Victories can happen.
It seems to be very common to get sick as soon as you start T. Maybe the stress? This happened to me as well. Makes it confusing when you are eagerly awaiting a voice drop! Oh and congrats!!
Cheers guys and dolls. Not noticing much in terms of changes but I'm only on day 4 of using Testogel. My voice is deeper because of the cold!
