Being afab and feminine or amab and masculine does not mean you aren't non-binary.

My transgender power anthem, it's by a band that is considered Christian which for me makes it even better.
Serious advice for anyone stuck in a place where they can't transition, make a change in your life no matter how unrelated it is to your transition just to remind you that you are in control. I moved some stuff around my bedroom just to help me start my journey it helped.

I like that song a lot. I think the lyrics are powerful for a trans anthem or for anyone who is oppressed really. But I like it. Also I can see how moving around your room or making some small change can make things a bit better because it is a new beginning of sorts.

ty kodo. Someone I work with is trans and completely out to everyone. She was born a male, but told me always felt like a girl. She had the guts to tell her parents when she was a kid that she was a girl.. Her parents disowned her and it was upsetting to hear that :frowning2: But even with her family completely shunning her she keeps shining on! The last time we talked, she said she will be going on hormones soon. She is everything I wish I accomplished at her age.. she's 18, I'm 27.. I envy her for staying so strong and positive and already doing things for herself. She is an inspiration, and part of the reason I decided to find a place like this - so I could talk to other people in similar situations, just like how she did.. but she got to meet them all in person, but that's okay lol. This works too!

I have this really strange feeling that everything is going to work out with my family. I think it's called optimism.

I found this on a Buddhism page I have liked on Facebook. Can't share the link, so I will share the quote:

In case no one told you today:

    You are beautiful. You're loved.
    You're needed. You're alive for a reason.
    You're stronger than you think.
You're going to get through this.
    I'm glad you are alive.
    Don't give up.

I saw a very dark tunnel yesterday. I was certain this time it would collapse on me and I'd never break free. Then I went home. I remembered to breath. I spent time with people who matter to me and without me even realizing it, the dark tunnel was behind me and I was back in the sunlight.
It passed. It always passes. If you keep going, you make it through the tunnels and you see the sun again. Some tunnels are longer than others, but they all end.
