I am getting my name legally changed on March 13th. Does anyone know how that will affect my marriage legally? My wife and I assume that our marriage will still be recognized as official, but we don't know for sure. Yes, we are staying together, and hope the marriage will still be official. Thanks!!!

Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice; this is just what I found online.

Your marriage will still be legal. I'll paste in a quote from Lambda Legal about marriages in relation to changing gender markers, but if it's just a name change, the quote isn't even relevant because your name has no bearing on the legal status of your marriage.
