    So, I was sitting in Psychology class today, and had an antagonizing thought.
    How am I supposed to prom?
    Like, I never know how I want to present until I wake up in the morning, and I also I tend to fluctuate.
    What would be a "safe" way to dress?
    The last thing I want on that day is to have a panic attack because of my dysphoria.
    The date for the dance is April 29th.
    Thank you all!:icon_bigg

    Just wear a tux. It won't show your body shape too much, and everyone can look good in a tux.

    Ooh. Wear a colorful tie. Be fabulous.

    As Assassin'sKat said, I think a suit would be safe as masculine and feminine people can both pull them off. Maybe play around with accessories and hair styling on the day of depending on how you want to present?

    Is it possible to have both ready for the day? If you can get a free prom gown (prom closets) or a cheap one on e-bay that you really like, and rent a tux, you can decide that morning how you feel.

    You can also get a tux and get both pants and a formal skirt to go with it. Yes, they make tuxedo skirts.

    I've also seen formal gowns styled to resemble a tux.

    I love the ideas. :slight_smile:
    I think I might go with a tux, or at least a tux with a skirt. It seems to be the best of both worlds.
    Thanks so much guys!!!! :thumbsup::kiss:

    maybe mix and match? like a tux shirt and jacket ( id go with a waist length jacket for this look) with a colourful tie and pocket square, pared with long skirt and heels? with make up as you feel on that day.

    I think a kilt suit would be pretty damn cool.
