I don't have a binder, but I'm seriously curious about this... Can you wear a binder with no shirt on? I dunno why that came to mind... I'm just wondering if it's possible to just wear a binder (at least around the house) and no one would really care.
If you are in company, I wouldn't recommend it. It would just look a bit weird, unless it is a tank kind, but even then. On your own, do what you please. Just my thoughts... Sebby45
Why would you want to? They are, to me, a form of underwear and unless you live alone and wandering around your own place then no.
I do all the time, but only when I'm alone since I'm not out about my gender to my family. Some people don't like to, but if you like the thought then go for it.
If it's a tank type, that looks pretty much more like a tank than a binder, I don't see why not... as long as it's not see-through either.. But other than that, I would think it would be awkward unless this is just something you want to do at home ( and you're either alone or with family that knows about you umm "thing").
I suppose it depends on how big your chest is - I couldn't because I have a rather large chest and it sort of oozes out of the gaps at the side and looks weird. I'd wear it around my own room except that I'm not out to my parents really so I don't want to get caught. The binder itself looks just like a vest top
I treat it like underwear. So generally, no. And besides, when my chest is flat I enjoy wearing nice shirts so why would I want to?
Do whatever you feel comfortable doing. ^^ My chest looks sort of weird when I'm wearing a binder so I only do it when I'm in my own room. I suppose if you've got a pretty flat chest to begin with wearing a binder without a shirt would just look like a regular tank top.
