Hey all, so I've always fallen back on traditional sit-ups, scissors etc. for my fitness, and admmittedly I have gotten pretty good abs/body etc, but recently I've been exercising less and so have lost a little definition.

I'd like to get fit/slim, but I don't want masculine bulks. Should I continue with my old routine? Work with weights? Stick with cardio (running, rowing etc)? Do yoga instead?

Sure this has been asked so many times

Peace to all people of awesomeness on EC

    *hugs*(*hug*)

Cardio for staying fit, weights for a little tone. Also just burn more calories than you eat.

It's very hard to bulk up unless 1) you have the genes for it or 2) take steroids. And in either case, it takes hours of lifting every day.

I definitely recommend lifting for toning (and injury-prevention), as a supplement to cardio. In fact, the older you get, the more important lifting gets.

Yoga? Everyone should do it. Do I? No it bores me. But I meditate.

Yoga and cardio (like running) should do the trick.

I found that yoga bulks you up, but maybe I do it wrong.

Yoga/pilates, cardio, and weights are all good, just stick with low weight high reps.
