so in order to become more "out there" i got ******. I knew all the shit about it and how dodgey it was but hey ho. Anyway without sounding like an arse I do get my fair share of guys coming on to me-fair enough a lot are pervs just wanting NSA fun but there were a few guys genuinely interested in me. Now as clingy and desperate as I am and how desperate i am for a boyfriend I've turned these guys down. Partly because frankly I am not attracted to them but also I think I'm scared. But there is 1 guy I do find really attractive and want to talk to him but it seems like roles reversal for me. I haven't came on to him but he is like the only guy i've felt attracted to and im probs chasing after him because i know it'll go nowhere.

Yeah my psychologist actually suggested I at least explore it. I've been on there a few times and yeah, I'm just plain intimidated.

I feel like at 23 I shouldn't be a virgin and just get freaked out when I come across younger guys who seem so confident know what they're doing.

I don't want my first sexual experience to be with some dude on an app I might never see again so I guess that stops me going any further too.

Sorry I can't offer advice as such, just know that at least you're not alone (*hug*)

Met 3 guys on an app over the last year thinking it would lead to a relationship and it turned out each time that they too were really after some kind of friends with benefits situation and were not looking for a real relationship at all. I think it's fair to say that you will have more luck in the real world than I did on apps. In short, I don't recommend using them to find a relationship. If you want NSA that's fine, you will find plenty of that.

I second this, most people on there aren't really looking for relationships. And the sane ones that are are few and far between.
