Be yourself and listen, listen, listen! Do not let your eyes wander to that beautiful woman at the cash: give her 100% of your attention. Split the bill, seems trivial but you do not want to have any obligations afterwards if it doesn't work out. Arrange this in advance before you even sit down. Do not dump any personal issues or history on her, tell her about yourself as much as you like, but keep it positive, do not diss former relationships or really speak ill of anyone, it would not reflect well on you.
Lots of good advice here! The only thing I would add is to not hem yourself in by scheduling anything after the date. That way the two of you can talk as long as you want without your feeling the pressure of having to be anywhere else. "My time is your time" is a nice way to show your date you're happy to be there.
