Hey All, My God...So November 1st I am going in for Strabismus Surgery. I'm nervous. That is in like a week. Maybe more than a week? Anyways, I'm NERVOUS. Did I already say that? :***: I think I did. This is a really weird feeling for me because most of the time I am never nervous...I think what has me freaked out the most is what if something goes wrong. I know this rarely happens but still, it is my first surgery and I don't exactly like the thought of somebody cutting my eye open. Sorry if I grossed some of you out but I need a place to tell somebody how I am feeling. Thanks for listening to me rant, Thomas :icon_bigg
Hey, it is a pretty common procedure. My sister had it done to her, you have nothing to worry about, it will go fine! Still, good luck! Diego.
nobody likes this sort of thing .. but you will be in expert hands but once you are back home you will wonder what the worry was about best of luck to you !
You'll be fine! My sister had it done when she was about 2 if not younger, it wasn't a big deal. She got to ride the hospital's tricycle into the OR, and when it was over, they gave her a Popsicle while in the recovery room. Okay, so you might not get these amazing perks on account of your age, but I'm sure everything will go well anyway. Good luck!
