Is it appropriate to tell someone on EC you think he's attractive?

It depends on your motive. Are you just being nice or are you looking for a hook up?

 

I meant no offence. We do have many minors here on EC. I would hate for an older member to take advantage of one of them.

 

I do it. Not the hooking up obviously, but I like to tell people on EC if I think they're attractive.

 

I don't think its bad as long as the intention is nice. I think its clear that a lot of people come on EC are sometimes very low in the dumps, so telling someone you think they look cute or nice or are a nice person could mean a lot to them.

 

I've seen a lot of "You're so cute/hot!" comments, and they have all been done in a friendly way. So long as you're not looking for a hook up (which you said you weren't) then I think it's fine. I'm glad you asked this, though! It's nice to see other people's opinions on it, especially since I've been considering telling people I think they're cute. (No, not looking for a hookup!)
