What are the issues that you're dealing with that are prompting you to self-harm? If we could start to talk about those and see what you're dealing with, we can start to come up with ways to combat those issues and ways to cope, as well as ways to get support as needed.
Hi there! What's going on in your life, that make you feel that cutting is an outlet? When you get the urges to cut, or self-harm, do you have somebody that you could call, and talk about things, so to distract yourself for a while, or at least the urges are gone? What might help you is to have a help line number ready, and just call that number every time you feel the urge to cut is coming. You can also, try to distract yourself with the things you like doing most allowing your thoughts to concentrate on something else for a while. (*hug*)
The reason is that i do is bcuz i have no friends and bcuz the the friends that i do do have (at least used to have) hate me now bcuz when i told them i was gay without knowing they were homophobic. now they bully me. that is also one of the causes
I am really sorry to hear that your friends are bullying you because of your sexual orientation. (*hug*) I know it is easier said than done, but do you have a chance to create some new friends, and also seek support by joining a local support group? Have you ever mentioned to anybody that you are being bullied?
Just a thought... how would you feel about talking with a counselor or a teacher that you trust about what's happening?
Well, your parents might not need to find out at this stage. You can speak in confidence with a teacher or a counselor, and ask them not to say anything to your parents as you are not ready to be out to them (assuming that is the case). Cutting or any form of self-harm isn't the answer. Speak with somebody, somebody who can help you and make sure that the bullying you are facing stops. (*hug*)
Most schools have counselors you can talk to. I saw one when I was in high school. You get to miss class and it's excused. You can just drop in. Parents don't need to know. I cut myself when I was in high school so I understand. Seeing a counselor at school was very helpful for me.
