So I've played softball since i was 3 years old. The first two years t-ball, and one year of baseball. My mom then switched me to softball cause she wanted me to be around more girls, and I didn't want to but what choice did I have at 3. I came out this previous summer and I realized that, even though all of my softball friends want me to still play, I kind of don't. I don't want to be on a girls team, even if they consider me a guy, because I'd still feel considered a girl in a way and I don't want to wear a girls uniform.

I've been asking my mom if I can sign up for town baseball. I realize that baseball at my school is much higher competition than softball and considering I haven't played in a long time I'd need at least a year of town baseball to have a chance.

She doesn't want to sign me up because she doesn't think I'll be accepted on the team like by the other teammates and everything, but I want to play so badly. It's also that my dad was also connected with me and playing and he passed away and I just really want to play.

What do you think? Has anyone had any experience with this or other sports going onto lets say if you were ftm and going onto guys basketball or anything like that. Thanks.
