    Hi All!
I have a fundamental problem when swimming in college pool. I become very self-aware and self-conscious of my surroundings. I’m the only brown Asian guy in the pool, with not a very masculine body, and with a beginners swimming ability. I know people are swimming about minding their own business, but I keep thinking that they are looking at me! I think people swim to relax and stay healthy, but I swim in fear most of the time. How do I overcome?

Well, some music could help you relax, you could get one of those waterproofed ipods.

I love swimming while listening to my favorite songs.

listening to music seems like an interesting remedy, but I don't think it can help me become less anxious in the pool...:icon_sad:
