I really don't like having body hair. As in, I REALLY don't like it at all! So I try to shave it off whenever I notice it on my body.

I was just shaving the hair off of the back of my fingers and the back/sides of my hand and I wondered if other people do this too. Do you? :icon_bigg

Well not that I have a huge amount but I do have to...otherwise I'd look weird with hairless arms and random hairy hands!

I don't have hair on my hands, but I do shave my arms, and legs (at least in summer). I'm a cyclist so its pretty common even amongst my straight counterparts. I am not a fan of body hair, sometimes facial hair, but it has to be on the right person.

My hair stops right at my wrist. So I'm not sure I can comment on the issue except if it makes you feel better go for it.

I don't have this issue, but if it makes you feel better then you should do what makes you happy. I am sure you aren't the only person that does it.

On the subject, anyone ever try those hair removal things they show on TV like "NoNo"?

I've been tempted to but since I really don't know what it actually does and I'm poor as hell I don't think I will be...

Plus as with all new hair removal I worry about trying it and getting it wrong. At least with a blade I know what I'm doing...anything else...who knows what I could do!

My problem with blades is that I have super thin hair but when I use it I get that nasty dark stubble.

Even when I don't feel feminine, I hate facial hair myself and want a permanent solution.

Well, and kinda embarrassing I think, but I shave the little strip of hair on my foot, and toe hair because I think it looks ridiculous having these few little straggly hairs on your feet. So I don't think it's strange to do the back of your hands. I don't do it, although I probably would in the future.

Also... Shaving my chest hairs sometimes... Ugh, the prickly stubble gets caught in my clothes fibers.

Ugh I know! So annoying...although I find my arms are worst because I touch them more. I can shave them and within an hour sometimes they are all prickly again! It's like god DAMN let me be smooth for once...I'll never get a boyfriend if he thinks I'm gonna be prickly everywhere!

Have you tried one of the hair removal creams? I use Nair for Men but they have the same for women.. It's probably exactly the same stuff but makes me a little less embarrassed when I check out at the store.

Yea... No. I'll pass on things containing calcium hydroxide (a caustic base).

I've used something similar to that but I don't think they are really worth the bother...they aren't BAD it just takes a really long time and the results aren't any better except on my legs.

I tried it once, and failed miserably...I don't know if the strips I bought were bad (they were wicked cheap so they probably were xD ) or if I was doing it wrong but nothing happened essentially. I've got to try it again at some stage.

Once I get some more money and a little more courage I'll go get a proper all-over wax, but I don't see much point until I have cash or you know...a reason...

I'm not a fan of pain, so that's one of the reasons I wouldn't.

I tried waxing and completely messed it up the first time and it hurt like hell. Then, I tried it again a couple of days ago and it actually worked quite well but strangely it didn't hurt at all. It was bizarre because it was so painful the last time, ha ha!

I shave everything but my legs and parts of my private areas. If you shave your arms it only makes sense to shave the hands too
