Seriously? Isn't it illegal to open another persons mail? Since when it opening your ex's mail alright??? So, I sent my crush a cute card in the mail, which apparently her ex got to before she did and now I feel like an ass...and am completely embarrassed. I realize the ex is the one in the wrong, opening someone else mail, but still I feel like an idiot. Why do I even try?? Such is my life and I hate it!

    ....and life goes on.

I HATE it when the worst possible thing that could happen, happens but its a part of life. Eventually this will be in the past and you can laugh bout it. Dont feel like an idiot, don't be so embarrassed, and don't give up in general, Don't worry about it! <(^-^)>

But if you want revenge you can get a dog to poop on your crushes exes lawn *tht ruins everyones day

I don't know if it's illegal or not, but it certainly wasn't right.
You shouldn't feel bad or embarrassed or anything apart from angry. You did nothing wrong. Is there some way you could get a new card to your crush personally, to ensure their ex doesn't open their mail again? Good luck! And don't beat yourself up about it

yes opening some one elses mail is a felony. I would think that that person would have respect for their significant others private mail.

Why be embarrassed? You like a girl and bought her a nice card. So it ended up in the hands of her ex (bet I can guess why), I bet the only thing that actually embarrassed you is you made a move that made you vulnerable and someone else found out. Hell I'd send her another card then another..... Until she actually receives one. Think about it the more cards her ex has to steal the more it will annoy ex-witch and she cannot ask your crush why you keep sending cards without admitting that she's been stealing them.

I would contact a lawyer, but I'm not a very forgiving person.

No one should have to be embarrassed for being with someone
