So I have posted several threads about me moving to Florida next week and even though I am super excited that I am going to be working on the beach, and live close to the beach I am also very nervous about it. This is a big change in my life and I know this is something that is going to better my life but that still doesn't take away the jitters about it.

In the past I have let my nerves get the better of me and didn't take the chances that I needed to take, and I don't think it is going to happen this time. Is there a way for me to calm my nerves about moving or is this a normal feeling to be having?

Sounds normal enough to me. Florida can be fairly different from Alabama, but at the same time, I think you might like it.

May I ask a bit more specifically where? West coast, east coast, nearest big city, etc.?

It's normal to feel that way. I have moved to alot of different places and was always relly nervous when the moving day came. After you get past the move and start meeting new people I think you will enjoy it. I actually lived in the treasure coast part of Florida and loved it there. It was probably my favorite place I have lived.

Hmm, pretty far away from me then lol. I've seen pictures though; it's a gorgeous area.

Once you get settled in you'll feel better.

Yea, I love it down there. I also get down to the Tampa area often because my grandparents live that way.
