    I did a band audition early and I did not give the asked amount of letters they asked for I have them two letters instead of three is it a big deal?

    Depends on the school (I presume it's a school) and the director. If they are friendly and willing to work with you, shouldn't be an issue. If they're strict and exclusive, they might tell you to come back when you've got a third.
