I want to but can't. My dad says it disrespects him and his beliefs.
We are both very Devout Christians, and I found that the Scriptures don't condemn Gays, but those who molest children (I use the ancient Bible, the modern one has some verses out of original context)
Either way, I want to be able to express myself at home. Whenever I try to, my dad lectures me. My step mom says it wrong and gives a disgusted look.
    HELP!

Personally, if they aren’t threatening to kick you out of the house or something along that regard, I wouldn’t care what they said or do…

There are other symbols you can wear.
The black triangle is a lesbian symbol.

Here's the thing....you are living in their home. It's sad - it sucks - but frankly, a rainbow doesn't make you a lesbian. I'd be more concerned with getting them to a level where they respect you, then maybe they will open up more.

You know who you are inside. A rainbow isn't going to change that. However rainbows are God's sign that He would never destroy the earth by flood again. How can you parents be against that? God created rainbows according to the bible. (Yes, I know the science behind a light spectrum.)

They do know that it is a prominent gay symbol. They are against rainbows.
