My grandfather keeps commenting on how girly I act. According to him I use too many hand gestures and overall act like a girl when I get excited. I see no harm though, I am being myself after all and I really can't help it. The problem is that he is persistent and is getting my entire family in on it. Thoughts?

What do you mean that he's getting your entire family in on it? Is it not obvious to the rest of your family for some reason?
Does he want you to change / act more masculine? Wouldn't that be more of an act than your flamboyancy?
Are you worried that your family will ask you if you're gay as a result of your feminine behaviour?

I think it's great that you're being yourself! Don't change for anyone.
Talking with your hands is something to be cherished rather than condemned.
You'll probably find when you get older that freely expressing your body language will be very useful in getting people to understand your verbal language.

    Peace! (*hug*)
