Is it normal that you sometimes feel nothing?
Absolutely nothing. Like really nothing. No sadness, no happiness. Nothing in between.
I'm just wondering cause sometimes I feel nothing for days.
I could just sit there doing nothing, feeling nothing.
So my question, is this normal?
    Thanks for every advice!

It's completely natural, because I do it all the time.

You know, those times where people ask you, "Hey, how are you feeling?"

And you have no idea what to do except shrug your shoulders.

    No worries. It's fine. Haha.

    Er, I think.

I use the phrase 'no worries' really freely. Sorry about that. I think you know what I mean, haha.

I would say so. I Can go days without feeling anything, just nothing at all. I just spend My days doing nothing, staring blankly at The tv, eat, and then sleep.

It's weird, but i am kinda happy to see i'm not completely alone about it xD

Imagine how terrible it would be if you had to feel something 24/7.

Unless you're usually happy. Then woo-hoo, let's party!

Ha yea. Right. That would be terrible!!
Just one question. I know it's weird.
What do you feel when you're happy?
Cause sometimes I don't know if I'm happy or just pretending to be.

I've been extremely happy these past few days, so I can answer that with certainty. Haha.

For me, it's almost like a tight feeling in my chest, but it feels really good. I feel like I can do anything, and most things that will make me feel sad when I'm not happy (such as my voice or my chest) will actually inspire me to work harder.

I also get more energy. I feel like running around and screaming. I grin spontaneously and I can get amused more easily.

Sometimes, I even feel like kissing and hugging people. This morning, I legitimately hugged my little sister for legitimately no reason except for the fact that I was... well, happy.

It's different for others, of course, and this is only when I'm SUPER, EXTREMELY HAPPY.

If you're wondering what it feels like to just feel happy and not OVER THE TOP happy, then I'd tell you it just feels like everything is going fine and everything seems alright for once in your life.

I'm sure you have if you weren't sure.

Like I said, what I described is only when you're extremely happy. I haven't been this happy for a long, long time, but I have been happy.

The 'content' feeling you can have is also considered happiness in my book. When you feel like laughing at a joke, that's also happiness. If you feel relaxed, I think it also falls under happiness.

It's a really flexible term, really. So just because you're not hyper like me doesn't mean you're not happy. Haha.

    Oh ok. I'm confused.
I laughed yea. But actually not that often as I would like to.
    Relaxing? Forget it.
    Ok, but that's another story.
    Thanks!!!!

Sorry for confusing you. If it helps, you can post what you've been feeling and see if people think it's happiness or not.

Not really an expert on feeling happy, but generally, if you feel fine, you're happy. Unless, of course, you're not really feeling anything. Haha.

Well, that's actually a good idea. The only problem is that I can't describe nor know what I am feeling.
I got this thing with feelings and emotions. As a kid I thought I got superpowers but later I recognized it were just feelings. It's so creepy sometimes.
Cause actually they all feel like they're the same it's only the situation that makes them different. Well, ok. Sadness and happiness is very different of course but stuff like excitement, nervousness or jealousness is not much different.
And actually this makes no sense.

    No, it does make sense.

Emotions and feelings are very confusing, and not everyone can just put it in some category just like that.

    Here's an article:

21 Emotions For Which There Are No English Words [Infographic] | Popular Science

There are many, many emotions. So much, in fact, that the entire English language can't cover them all.

Although, if you feel good, I think you can safely say you're happy.

    Thhaaanks!! That's actually very interesting!!!

And if I don't know whether I feel god or not?
Oh boy. That gets even more confusing now.

No problem. And, well, not really. Sometimes I feel very odd. I don't know if it's a bad feeling or a good feeling. It's just there. I think you may feel this way, and if that's true, I assure you, that's natural too.

Or, well, it is to me, because I experience it every so often. Not exactly as much as I feel nothing, but pretty close.

I just call it the idk feeling. Haha.
