Sorry for posting about the same thing once again, but I am really trying to move on with my life after finding out my crush isn't interested in guys. To help me move on, I think it would be really nice to start talking to a guy. Unfortunately though, I am not out and I don't plan on coming out anytime soon. So, I am looking to talk to another guy who is in the closet, that way he can relate to me. I have nothing against people who are out; honestly, I respect all of you and give you much credit. However, I would feel bad if I got close to someone and our friendship had to remain a secret. I'm not looking for sex or anything; I would just like someone to talk to and we could see where it leads.

I am trying to avoid chat rooms because most of them are filled with horny individuals who are only interested in meeting up and having sex; I am honestly not interested in this type of "friendship". Is there a way to meet other guys in the closet or should I basically lose hope?

Thanks and any advice is appreciated.

    Never lose hope

    Are you religious at all?
Maybe look at some 'gay friendly' churches.
There's bound to be some closeted people there (not out to their family at least).

What are your reasons for staying closeted?
What are some of the reasons that you think guys in your area would stay closeted?
Answering these questions might help you to think of places and situations where other closeted people would socialise and spend time. Where do you (and where would they) feel the most comfortable?

I'm sure you've already considered both of these, but just putting them out there.

    Peace! (*hug*)
