So I'm finally 21 and want to be able to go out to different places (clubs and the such) but considering I have little to no friends in the area that I live in I'd be doing all of this alone pretty much unless I make a friend that wouldn't mind going with me. I live near the WeHo area so I'd love to spend a night out having fun but I just feel it would be weird going out there all alone considering it's usually a really lively area where I never see anyone alone from the two times I've gone. How did all of you deal with going out places after turning of age?

That's easy booze. Sober you feel awkward and shy. Add booze and suddenly your cocky, ten feet tall, and bulletproof.

Even alone? I'd be driving myself there so I wouldn't really want to be drinking.
