I wanted to start earning money for myself so that come Christmas (and my birthday which is 9 days after Christmas) I can buy things for everyone and more importantly myself. I suppose I could take up waiting or something similiar, since I can interact with people better.I tried getting a paper round after I'd finished my youth club 3 months ago, but they said they were full. I know that I can only work so many hours during the week and not in the holidays. Is there anything I can do apart from a paper round?
I am not sure what the rules are these days… My first job at 15 was working in the local grocery shop… then pumping petrol at 16… but it was a while ago and the rules may be different now how about "odd jobs" for neighbours/ friends of parents? car cleaning is always a good one. I also did that gardening, cleaning windows, painting & decorating?
I helped my uncle doing laboring stuff fetch wood paint exc kept me in good shape i was lucky as he didnt take the piss paying me I would check min wage limit for your age got a feeling it's less than £4.00 an hour but ask around just checked your profile busking teaching your music skills .
