You're unlikely to have all of the symptoms, but most people with depression will have five or six. •feel unhappy most of the time •lose interest in life and can't enjoy anything •finding it harder to make decisions •struggling to cope with things that you used to •feel constantly tired and worn out •feel restless •loss of appetite or weight - or some people overeat/comfort eat and gain weight •struggling to get to sleep and waking early •loss of libido •loss of self-confidence •loss of hope •avoid other people •feel irritable and angry •feel worse at a particular time each day •thoughts of self harm or suicide. Often these symptoms build up over time and you may not notice them until things get quite bad. Sometimes you may even dismiss the feelings, until you get physical symptoms too, like headaches, pains or insomnia - these can also be signs of depression. If you think you have lots of these symptoms consult a health professional for a diagnosis and support.
