There is this transwoman that is treasurer of the LGBT club, and president of the anime club at the college I go to. So yeah I just so openly announce my sexual preferences (which I won't repeat but I think most of you here know) and she looked really depressed when I did so and today at anime club I left early because I felt guilty. I mean I could have apologized but that would not have fixed the problem. Any advice?

Eh. You can't apologize for who you are. And opposite, she can't hold it against you either. It wouldn't hurt to talk to her and see what the deal was.

I would talk to her sensibly... maybe there was something in your wording that made her feel rejected... you might reassure he that it was not meant that way...

You took the time to make a thread on this. Take the time to talk to her. She should understand.
