Hi, I'm currently in the closet, I'm weighing the pros and cons of coming out, and I'm wondering if I come out will I be able to find maybe a boyfriend (that's my age and not an adult), or friends that are lesbian, transgender etc.? I don't know if my city (Dallas Texas) has gay youth groups or not. What are some ways I could find other lgbt youth? Thanks
I would assume that a big city such as Dallas would have some type of resources available to you. Try doing some searching around on the Internet. If there is a "gay part of town", try going there to see if you spot any teens that you could hang out with.
