I'm applying to grad schools this fall and have a few questions for people who are very very familiar with entrance and admittance into grad programs. I want to get into a clinical psychology program. And since these programs are very competitive, I'm looking for whatever advice I can get.

The hard part is that I do not have a very high gpa (2.8), but I've worked in a well respected lab and have excellent references. Even though my gpa isn't the best, my references have strongly suggested that I apply anyway.

Given all of this, does anyone familiar with entrance into grad programs have any advice? Also advice or comments from people who have graduated from clinical psych programs, are in clinical psych programs, or oversee clinical psych programs is appreciated.
