So, I was at the fencing club tonight, and I was talking to one of the female fencers in the club, and she's been seeing another girl for about a year. She told me she's pansexual, but she just tells people she's "gay" if they ask, because she doesn't want to have to explain pansexuality to them. I'm so happy I'm not the only fencer who isn't straight.
You have a fencing club. That's sweet. I can't claim any formalized training, but I'd be willing to bet I'm better with a sword than some people. Do I count?
I forgot about this until now, but there was a friend a grade above me in high school who was a fencer. He's gay, and I recently became FB friends with him, telling him I was really proud to learn he came out in college.
