Hi guys, How do I know if this girl I talk to on a regular basis might like me that way? I mean, i'm on great grounds with her, as a friend. But I wouldn't want to cross limits if she's as straight as a pin. Are there any tell tale signs of knowing if she might be liking me that way? She is aware that I might be interested in girls. In spite of knowing this, I find that she keeps hugging me, sitting on my lap, kissing my cheek and light stuff like that. Half the reason why I'm noticing/getting attracted to her is because of this. Is this just friendly ?

It's always better not to assume, even if you think you are sure. Some people are just flirty. When in doubt ask directly. If you think that they might not handle being asked very well for whatever reason, it might be better to wait or bring up the subject as gently as possible.
Hold on. Sitting on your lap? Kissing? How old is she because this does not sound like just friendly behaviour. Unless she was drunk or is very young, I'm guessing this is a bit more than that. Have you seen her behave like this with anyone else? I'd say, next time she's in your lap, tell her you you guys need to go on a proper date. Make it jokey but pay attention to her reaction. Be prepared just in case she's been using you for some safe, albeit boundary-crossing, affection.
She's a 25 year teetotaller (doesnt drink). I guess i'm back into the game then btw, I love that witty thing 'We guys need to go on a proper date' ! Its smart and should give me the right answer.
ask her if she has had any previous girlfriends or boyfriends if shes superstraight, shes probably gonna deny the girlfriend part
