Ok so lately my heart has been beating faster and then really slow and then it goes back to normal. This happens every so day or every other day and has been happening for the last month. Also in my chest area right in the center I feel like someone is drilling a hole into my chest and it's hard to catch my breath that's been going on for 2 weeks. I do have scoliosis (nothing major) in my back I just have a little curve on my lower back which I was diagnosed with in March of 2013. I was thinking it might have something to do with my chest but it's only in my lower back area my chest looks fine. My heart has also been skipping beats and that's been happening for 3 months now. Also I've been having mood swings sometimes I'm angry for no reason then I'm sad for no reason and then I'm happy for no reason. Should I go to the doctor? Do you have any idea what's wrong with my heart? Also with my emotions?

If you have to ask this question, the answer is almost always yes. Better safe than sorry.

Almost sounds like a small panic attack. Either way I would still go to a doctor.

I'd go see the doctor. Your heart skipping beats often isn't normal.

Better safe than sorry. There could be any number of non critical causes for such, but since the possibility exists it could be serious, better safe than sorry.

Yes you should, pain is a great indicator that something is wrong.

but them!!! it's ;your health. the office staff in some doctor offices isn't all that good about following up. I've had too many times when I have to keep bugging them, and then find out that they had the results sitting on a desk, or put it in my file, but never called. sometimes they'll say, oh there was nothing. well, it would be nice to get that call! don't feel embarrassed about being a pest. :tantrum:

Just do a follow-up on Monday with your doctor and ask if the results are back. On the other hand, if you haven't heard anything, it could also be a sign that all of your results are normal and there is nothing to worry about. Usually, if there are concerns arising from your blood test results, your doctor would call and ask you to come back in. But, yeah, do the follow-up on Monday.

I guess the key words are persistent and nice. the people who work there may be overloaded, so don't think that they're are intentionally messing with you; but they could be overlooking something, and it's good that your father is going to see them tomorrow. good luck getting the results ASAP

Thanks the only reason im worried is because they said i might have lupus and I just wanna make sure that I don't. An it's been 2 weeks now so I would like to just clarify that there isn't anything wrong.
