Lately I've noticed that even here some people feel uncomfortable about their sexual orientation. They say being gay is terribly wrong and unacceptable. Well, I'm not going to say it's 'correct'. But I want to point out at something: 1. "straight" is not normal, it's common. 2. homophobes are a problem -> religious people are not. 3. we grew up being gays whilst looking at straight people, so we cannot have any "bad influences" on the children of homophobes just by hanging around with each other. 4. "gay" is not an insult. 5. even if our feelings are 'wrong'... the ordinary people around me are not in charge of 'punishing' us. So don't let them break you down. I'm not trying to tell you to go outside and shout saying you're gay. And if you strongly believe in God and you simply cannot believe homosexuality is normal, pray to Him and He will show you whether you're on the right way now or not. Stay strong guys
I'm oddly liking being gay. Most people don't seem to know or realistically care so whatever. I find myself attracted to other guys, but that doesn't make me feel bad. In fact it makes me feel better just acknowledging that I actually accept it.
Same with me (but from a lesbian perspective). Most of the time I think it's pretty awesome to be gay. XD And often when people find out I'm gay they say that's cool. I guess we are pretty cool. ^.^
