I'm trying to get a driver's license and I have my first test tomorrow and it's really eating me up. I've only been driving for two and a half weeks and even though I'm alright at it, I can't help but feel I won't make it.

    I can barely think straight.

I know how you feel. When I took my road test I was a nervous wreck. I ended up having to do it three times before I passed, the nerves were that bad. Take deep breaths. You'll be ok. Even if you don't pass, that's ok. There's always next time. Don't put too much pressure on yourself (*hug*)

You could get out and run... exercise, build down the stress hormones...

take a few deep breaths two or three times a day, slowly inhaling, holding the breath a few moments, slowly exhaling... most people tend to breathe very shallow, this might relief the organism

see yourself holding your certificate... feel the joy...

I wouldn't have that much trouble with doing it multiple times if it didn't mean staying with my parents longer.

I had to go back to my old home to get my license so I need to do the road test here. If I do it anywhere else, everything will be a little different and it's more likely I'll fail.

So I gotta stay until I'm done, but I miss my fiancée and my son.

if you feel you might get really nervous you might inquire at your pharmacy for mild calming stuff...
there should be herbal means available, alone knowing might help...
you could tell them what it is for...
some people only carry them with them, to calm down...
be very careful though, they are not without effects... they might make tired...
I'd rather use it really sparingly and think of it like kind of a miracle pill...
