    Hey,

After going through depression last fall and then finally comming to terms with my sexuality in December, comming out in January, and dating a guy for about a month I haven't had much sex drive or romantic desire whereas before I came out and was in depression I had a really high sex drive and all I wanted was to meet another guy and fall in love. Now I go on ****** and the interest just isn't there and I'm trying to figure out why. From mid-December to mid-January I dated a guy and we came to the realization that we just didn't feel anything for eachother other than I felt alot of attachment.... I really missed him for a long time but now I'm over it. However I still have little sex drive or romantic desire. Porn still turns me on, but I see guys around everywhere and don't feel any sexual attraction any more. I'm putting in a lot of long hours at work these days... I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it never affected me before.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences.

I am by no means any sort of expert and I have never had a sexual relationship in my entire life but I have heard it said that stress can have an adverse effect on a persons sex drive. if you have gone through a steep period of big cnages like you have outlined in your post, then may i hazard a guess and say that your diminished interest 'might' be a result of your head and emotions just coming to terms with everything that has happened in just a few short months  as I say, I am no expert..but maybe just give yourself a bit of time to adjust....so much easier said than done I know...and i HATE it when my friends tell me to give myself time when I am struggling with being single or struggling with my sexuality or the adjusting to life outside the closet...but they are right. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves and we want to rush things when the best hing we can do for ourselves is to take the time to smell the roses

I think you are in to much of a hurry. How old are you? You sound kinda young. I'm 21 and I have never been in any relationship whatsoever. Not even any quick and go x rated shit or nothing. So I don't know maybe your just pushing it a little and maybe its just because your still attached to him and the fact your not with him has kicked the drive down to low gear.
