I regret coming out. Ever since I have I have gotten so much problems from my friends. We have gotten in a lot of arguments and we seem to be drifting apart. This happened right after I came out. I feel like its my fault. They make a lot of offensive jokes about gays and the LGBT+ community in general. Only a few of my friends are really supportive of me. My 4 main friends I feel like are not really my friends. They say they support me but all they do is say offensive things to me and 1 says he hates gays.
It is NOT your fault. If they are being insensitive and making you feel bad about yourself then I'd suggest dropping them as friends. Maybe look into going to an LGBT group and finding friends who will be supportive and treat you with respect.
Good! You don't need those kind of people in your life. You still have other friends who support you, right? Take comfort in that.
