There's a boy in my school who I don't have any lessons with but for some reason I seem to constantly see him in corridors, outside, when leaving, etc. Thing is, every time he sees me he says, "Are you a man?" Always those exact words. It gets really irritating because I have no idea what to reply and now it's making me incredibly stressed out. Does anyone know what I could do about him?

    Thanks.

    Ignore him.
    Act like he is invisible.

    Yup... that sounds v v v annoying!

I expect the best solution is not to react - at all
    - it is your reaction he is trying to instigate
so just appear to be disinterested (even if you really want to punch his lights out!)

Ask him if he's a man.

Whether he says yes or no, just nod, and tell him to have a good day.

Or you could ignore him, that's option 2.

A way to diffuse people when they bring negativity to you is to just give them a blank expression and look at them in their eyes, nothing more. When they stop talking, just ask "Are you done?" and walk away. People normally just want a reaction so if you don't give them one they get bored and move on to something else.

Okay, if you want to joke about it, do what Jax said. But it might get you punched in the face (even though it's totally what I would do. xP)

If you want to just get him off your back, do what Sek said.

Still thought what Jax said was funny, though. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

 Thanks guys, hopefully it will wear off. I'll probably just ignore him, or start hanging out more with my cousin who's a black belt in karate  .

You could also ask him why he says that. That could lead to insight. XP

I suggest that you pose the same query or state "we were all born female," as that is a scientifically correct statement.

just say "are you?" or "yeah, more than you're", but you have to say it in a way that requires no eye contact, you have to speak to the space, like youre not talking to him, and whatever he says, don't ever look back, dont get into an argument.
