One of my friends is on some low-carb diet called keto (I think) and lost over 30 lbs (13.5 kg) in a month. He swears that this diet is "perfectly scientific" and that he's getting enough food, but that amount of weight loss sounds seriously unhealthy to me and I don't know what to tell him.

    Hi Mogget :smilewave

I'll try my best to help. Firstly, you could talk to him in private about it and explain that you're concerned. You shouldn't make him feel guilty or give simple solutions. Be supportive and if he does have an eating disorder, you could encourage treatment (counsellor, doctor, dietitian, etc.)

    Hope this helped :icon_bigg
