Meeting people with same sexual orientation?

    So I'm pretty sure I saw this topic somewhere before but I couldn't for the life of me find it.

    Basically I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how/ where to meet gay/bi people etc. I rarely really visit anywhere I can talk to new people and the only place I can really do that is school. (Bearing in mind I live in Uk) How do I meet other gay people?

    I've just been thinking 'bout how it'd be nice to meet LGBT people in my community. :3
